ParaLegal/ Legal Assistant

  • Prepare and edit correspondence and legal documents
  • Calendar/schedule management
  • Maintain and organize client files
  • Carry out correspondence and communication with clients
  • Prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Draft a variety of court documents including (not limited to) Notice of Civil Claim, Bill of Costs, Affidavits, and List of Documents
  • Full preparation for Examinations for Discovery, Mediation and/or Trial
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in the area of Civil Litigation
  • Excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills
  • The ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
  • The ability to work independently as well as work well in a team environment
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Professional work ethic, a great attitude, and the ability to adapt to varying expectations
  • Excellent eye for detail
