Deepak founded Gautam & Associates in April 2012. Deepak’s practice is focused on doing trial work in personal injury law, insurance law, immigration law and general commercial law matters.
Deepak has represented clients in land development disputes, contract disputes, debt collection, motor vehicle accidents, and visa refusals. He has assisted in the reunification of families in Canada by successfully challenging visa refusals at the Immigration Appeal Division, Federal Court of Canada and The Federal Court of Appeal. Deepak has represented clients in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Appeal of British Columbia. He was successful in convincing a division of the Court of Appeal of British Columbia to lay down a process for cancellation of a lien and the re-filing of that lien which was previously cancelled. Deepak’s mantra is to provide practical legal solutions to complex legal problems with the aim of minimizing legal costs to clients.
When he’s not working, Deepak enjoys spending time with his family, friends, playing and watching cricket, and managing the cricket club called Delta Patriots.
